Not all lawyers are the same”

Beware of the free advice from some YouTube lawyers. It may cost you more than your time and money.

A lawyer, especially a Constitutional Law Attorney, can only espouse the limits of their experience. So if a Constitutional Law Attorney has been practicing law for 2 years, that’s the limit of the experience you get. Lawyers desiring to pursue a career in Constitutional Law should join a firm where that is their specialty OR start out in criminal law defense and focus on the Constitutional issues on their own. The entrapment there is that a lot of criminal law attorneys tend to want to fight a charge by comparing the acts of their client to the statute that they are charged with. However, a Constitutional focused Attorney will explore the Constitutional issues first, while developing a defense on those Constitutional issues, then explore a defense based on the intricacies of the statute should no Constitutional issues arise.
